Hi, I’m Kristy and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, CA where I still currently reside with my husband and our two daughters. I am a multi-tasking mom, running from preschool to playdates in between working from home for a tech company. Amidst the chaos, we try to set aside time for our passion of traveling; we have already brought our girls to four different countries!
Of course I am grateful to spend every waking minute with my two babies, but between the role of motherhood and a career I felt like I was losing my identity. I needed to find an outlet that boosted my self-confidence and allowed room for creativity. My first thought was.. why not start a blog? (Or maybe I should have just started a fitness plan haha)
Kristy By The Sea is a place where I share all things fashion and motherhood that reflect my casual, coastal lifestyle. It is a creative blend of affordable fashion, mom hacks, travel diaries, and some fitness. I love to write about a variety of things because there are so many different parts to my own life. The one thing they all have in common is a laid-back, beachy vibe.
