Most Instagrammable Places In Palm Springs

This post is sponsored by Palm Springs but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I recently took a day trip out to Palm Springs with one of my best friends. I love visiting this desert town because it is so unique and charming! While we were there we stopped at some of the best photography spots in town, because that’s what happens when you send two photo-obsessed girls on a road trip together (#bloggerlife). There are so many great backdrops, more than enough to keep your Instagram feed looking amazing for days. Here is a collection of all my favorite Instagram-worthy places to take photos while visiting Palm Springs.

The Windmills

Nothing says “Welcome To Palm Springs” like seeing the Windmills as you approach the city. They make for quite the iconic backdrop, but they are not the easiest to actually get to. We were able to find a service road (which turned into a dirt road) that lead to a pretty great photo spot.

If you are traveling on the I-10 East, take exit 104. Continue straight on Main Street, Right on Broadway, Left On Bonita Ave. This will come to a “T” with Elm Street. Turn left and follow that dirt road as it curves to the right and parallels the freeway. Stop anywhere along there for the best photo with the windmills!

Palm Springs Sign

Located at the Palm Springs Visitors Center, this sign leaves no room for interpretation over where you are. It’s the perfect place to snap a pic to document your trip to the desert. Not to mention that Mount San Jacinto makes for a pretty amazing backdrop! The sign is super easy to get to and there is a small dirt lot just before it where you can park.

That Pink Door

This door has become so famous it even has its own Instagram account and hashtag. Located in the front of a private home, this large bubblegum pink door makes for a super cute backdrop!

Unfortunately the residents are not fond of photography, according to those little signs in the grass. However, we did see a ton of other colorful doors in this neighborhood that would make for a great picture too (like the one below).

It is located at 1100 E Sierra Way.

Random Neighborhoods

Just outside of the Palm Springs downtown area are a ton of residential streets. I think these streets are so underrated for photo ops! Almost every street is lined with palm trees and has views of the mountains. Even the houses themselves make great backdrops with their modern design and succulent landscapes. Some of my favorites are E Sierra Way, Yosemite (where the above photo was taken), and Alhambra.

The Parker Hotel

One of the most Instagram-worthy places in all of Palm Springs and my favorite resort is The Parker Hotel. This hotel is super famous for the giant patterned white wall out front that you have probably seen on every influencer’s feed. However, my favorite part of The Parker is actually on the inside. Their lobby is filled with a mix of eclectic decor and modern design, its so chic!

Tip: Avoid the valet and self park on the street. Then dine on their patio at Norma’s!
