The Best Fitness Apps For Women

The Best Fitness Apps For Women. These provide great workouts from home with little equipment. Also for beginners! Reviews on The Sculpt Society, BBG, the Peloton App, and more! Many offer free trials all from your iphone.

Hi girls! I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend! We worked on our garden and did some BBQing. I may have also over indulged in s’mores 😉

I am all about balance! I love having treats here and there but I also love to physically move my body and burn those off. It’s also a great way to boost my mood and keep me mentally strong! Since we are still socially distancing here in California and the gyms are closed, I’ve been getting creative and relying more on fitness apps that I can use from home. Here are the best fitness apps for women that I am currently using or have used in the past and loved!

The Best Fitness Apps

The Scuplt Society with Megan Roupe – This is the one I am currently doing most often. I love the fun energy of her dance cardio! She often has special guests doing the workouts with her which are helpful in keeping me interested. Everything is organized by weeks AND by categories, which is great if you are feeling a certain workout or stretch that day instead. Videos range from 5 minutes to 50 minutes, but I really love the 15 minute videos that target a specific body part like arms or abs.

The Sweat App (BBG with Kayla Itsines) – It’s been awhile since I’ve gone though the original BBG program but I loved the short and effective workouts. The first 8 weeks of the program are great for beginners. They now also have post-pregnancy, BBG Stronger, Yoga, and many more programs.

Tone It Up AppThe California girl in me loooves the beach workouts! The app offers both live studio classes (sign up in advance) or on demand classes. You can see who else is doing the classes at the same time as you and they have an awesome community. It also includes some healthy recipes! If you are looking to get a feel for it before you sign up, try the 7 day free trial or check out their YouTube channel.

Peloton App – I just recently discovered this one since they are doing free 90 day trials! You don’t need the peloton bike or tred to do some of their workouts. They have everything from strength training, yoga, meditation, to running. All taught by some of the best instructors in their field! I’m anxious to try the running one as this is something I struggle with finding the motivation to do.

Love Sweat FitnessAnother Southern California girl! The app includes daily guided workouts with great instruction to show you how to do each move by Katie Dunlop. There is a great tracker in the app that you can use to track your workouts, weight, hydration, progress photos, etc. Plus fun little encouragements like collecting trophies and bonuses!
