Today we are celebrating our Five Year Anniversary! I remember thinking on our wedding day how far away these big milestones seemed. And about how looong some of the great relationship examples we have are: ten years, twenty years, fifty years. It seems as if I blinked and here we are.. FIVE YEARS! It still hasn’t set in. Like am I really old enough to have been married for five years already? And have school aged children?! I definitely don’t feel like it. But I am so proud of the family we have built and how far we have come. I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
By the time you read this we will be celebrating our five year anniversary in Cabo! This will be the first trip we have taken together without the kids since they were born. I can’t wait!!

Since our wedding day, we have lived in three different states and have had multiple career changes… but we have also added two sweet little girls, traveled with them to four different countries and all over the USA, and are now settled back into our first home (bought right before we married). If we can make it through all that then we can make it through anything! I can’t wait to see what the next five years and forever after that hold for us.
