Hi girls! This pregnancy is flying by… it feels like it is going way faster then my first two did! I can’t believe I am already six months and there is no hiding the baby bump anymore. I have been having fun finding new way to dress my changing body, including tons of loungewear sets š
Here are a few things I have been loving to dress the baby bump! I am definitely a big believer in buying clothes that you can wear now and after your pregnancy, whether it’s going up a size or finding more flowy options. And most importantly having items that are comfortable! I hope you find these maternity style must-haves helpful and feel inspired to try some of these looks.
Maternity Style
Maternity Jeans – Okay, I know I just said I wasn’t buying anything maternity specific, but this is the one item that I feel like it a must. There is no substitution for jeans… let’s just take a moment to remember how wonderful high waisted jeans are.. ah, sigh. I bought one pair of maternity flares and one pair of maternity skinny jeans. I got my true pre-pregnancy size in both.
Maxi Dresses – These have been my friends during pregnancy. So easy to throw on and look super put together! I wore this sequin maxi dress in our announcement photos.
Leggings – My everyday go-to leggings are the Lululemon Align Leggings. They still fit over my bump and are soft as butter! I also purchased these over-the-belly Amazon leggings to try out and they are great for the price.
Ruched Dresses – Anything with ruching in the middle is so flattering for the bump! I have this mini dress in multiple colors and wear them often with a denim jacket or cardigan. The dress I am wearing above is a Swirl Boutique dress and the ruching allows you to make it any length you want (longer for me and the bump).
Sweatshirts – I have been living in oversized sweatshirts! I recently purchased this Target Tie Dye Sweatshirt in a size large to pair with my everyday leggings. I am also a huge fan of these super affordable Amazon sweatshirts and have been ordering both size medium and large in multiple colors.
Midi Skirts – I have never been a big fan of midi skirts until I discovered how cute they look over a bump! I bought this plain black mini skirt to match with everything. It looks so cute with a knotted graphic tee or a tucked up sweater. This stretchy midi skirt would also be so cute to highlight your bump!
Basics – These simple Target tank tops have been a life saver! I wear one of the solid colors almost everyday, under the sweatshirts or paired with a jacket/cardigan. They are super stretchy and long enough to cover my belly. Will continue to wear them after pregnancy too since they don’t have the ruching on the side that screams maternity.
