Hi girls! I hope your week is off to a great start! I’ve been busy planning a dinner for my 30th birthday coming up in a few weeks. It’s going to be Tuscan/Italian themed since I really wanted to go there and celebrate but since we can’t travel right now, we are bringing it to us! I’m actually looking forward to turning 30. However, I do know that with age comes more pressure to step up my skincare routine. I still strongly feel that less is more and using quality over quantity of products. Here is what I’ve been using lately and my skincare order of application (because that’s really important)!
There is totally a science to skincare order of application, but the general rule is to apply them in order from thinnest to thickest. The thinnest products, like serums, have all the good stuff in it that we want to really penetrate into our skin which is why they go on first. Then we want the thickest products, like moisturizers, to act as a barrier and lock everything in.
