Travel Guide: Cabo Girls’ Trip

Hi friends, I am so excited for today’s post!

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know that this past weekend I traveled to Cabo with 13 of my girlfriends for a bachelorette party. Yes, THIRTEEN!! We roll deep 😉 It was hands down one of the most fun weekends of my life. It was so well planned out, every detail was thought of, and we took full advantage of everything Cabo has to offer. We danced a lot, we drank a lot of tequila and made a million memories to last a lifetime. Here are all our trip details in case you are planning a trip to Cabo soon!

We arrived in Cabo around 1:30pm and were ready to party! One thing I love about Cabo is the moment you get out of baggage claim there is a bar outside, so it is a tradition to grab a Pacifico before hitting the road. Cabo is about a 45-minute drive from the airport so we arranged a transportation service to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The service we used is called TransCabo, they were great and had cold beer and water waiting in the van for us.

Pro-tip: On the way to the hotel you will pass a Walmart and Costco, make sure your transportation service stops at one! You can pick up all the alcohol, snacks and what ever else you may need there.

Since there were so many of us girls, we opted to rent a private villa instead of a hotel. The house was sooo nice with plenty of room for all of us and a private pool. The villa is located inside the gates of Pedregal, which is known for its’ luxury estates. It was the perfect location, about a five minute cab ride to downtown but also far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We rented it through Cabo Villas; they had amazing service, offered an onsite concierge for our entire stay, and we had maid service come in every morning. I highly recommend them!!

Other hotels I would recommend: Casa Dorada if you want to be close to the action, Playa Grande for a great hotel with kitchenettes in the room (we’ve brought our kids here), or The Cape Hotel and Pueblo Bonito for luxury.

The first night we were there we had a chef come cook dinner for us. I believe this was organized through the concierge of the villas in advance. They brought all the supplies and served us the most delicious Mexican dinner, including appetizers and dessert. We also had an hour of open bar compliments of the bride’s fiance! They made us fresh margaritas and pina coladas, sooo good!!

From there we headed out for the night. First stop was Squid Roe, which is a crazy five story nightclub with decor that screams Cabo! It was so crazy but definitely a Cabo landmark for partying! From there we headed next door to Mandala, which was a little classier with living room style VIP areas. We had so much fun dancing the night away!

Most of the girls slept in Saturday morning. We had breakfast burritos and fresh fruit delivered (again, every detail was thought of). It was so nice not having to cook for that many people! We spent the whole day at our private pool, relaxed, and did a ton of girl chat.

That evening we went to dinner at The Office. This place was amazing!!! It is right on the sand, literally had to take our heels off to walk over to our table. There was live music, delicious food, and incredible views. It is still some what of a party atmosphere though as they have a waiter walking around pouring tequila shots down your throat! Haha!  Make sure you make a reservation in advance, the place was packed and we recognized a few groups from the previous night. That’s one thing I didn’t realize but loved about Cabo. There were so many big Bachelor & Bachelorette parties that by the end of the trip everyone knew everyone. It was super cool.

Sunday morning we were up and out of the villa to head down to the Marina for a private boat ride. We used La Isla Tours and I can’t say enough good things about them! The boat was sooo nice (could easily hold 50 people) with lounge furniture for relaxing on. We spent four hours cruising around Cabo with an open bar and lunch provided. They also stopped in a cove with crystal clear water so everyone could swim. Our boat even had a two story deck that we could jump off of! They also provided snorkel gear and a few of the girls took a snorkeling tour with one of the boat staff. If you are ever in Cabo, a boat excursion is an absolute must! I loved ours because it was just us girls and our captains were seriously so fun! It was definitely my favorite part of the whole trip!

We went straight from the boat to Mendano Beach, a popular spot filled with beach bars. When you go to Cabo, hands down, you have to go to Mango Deck at least once. It’s very spring break-y and can definitely be wild but you have to go and experience it at least once. Think contests all day long on the beach, two for one shots… it can get pretty wild. But it is all fun and games and we had a lot of fun!

Monday morning we woke up, cleaned the house a bit, and then headed for the airport.

I know I said this at the beginning of this post, but it was hands down one of the best weekends of my life. All the girls are just such amazing women and made the trip so much fun. Everything was so well planned and worked out perfectly, we could not have asked for a better weekend!
