Ahhhh the babymoon… when you get to enjoy a few days of quality time with just each other before the crying, lack of sleep, and chaos starts. The two words that immediately come to mind: relaxing and beach. I am actually laughing out loud while typing this because we never actually got the relaxing part of our babymoons, ha! When I was pregnant with Hayden, our oldest crashed our babymoon to Costa Rica because I couldn’t bear to leave her behind (I literally booked her a flight 2 days before we left). This time around both girls came with us and we celebrated a mini babymoon and Spring Break combined. Life just got busy and I failed to plan individual weekends… but, at least we got the beach part right?! Anyways, kids or no kids, here is everything I packed for our mini beach babymoon.
When To Plan A Babymoon
I quickly wanted to touch on planning your babymoon and when to go. I was 34 weeks in these photos and I definitely recommend going way earlier then I did. I think anytime during the second trimester is best! You will have more energy and it will be easier to get around. I definitely had to take it slow while walking around town and don’t even get me started on the hunt for a bathroom every thirty minutes. Stick to the second trimester sweet spot to take full advantage of your mini vacay!
