I can’t believe this is my last post of 2018! What better way to end the year then with a round up of all my favorite purchases I’ve made throughout the year. More specifically, all my favorite Amazon purchases because honestly, I order everything from there. The following items are all things I use everyday and couldn’t live without.
Hair Pins – I love these sparkly hair pins and you can’t beat the price! They would look so cute for a holiday party, New Year’s Eve, or even a date night. They are a more sophisticated way to keep my hair out of my face, which is key when you are always looking down at kiddos!
Ring Doorbell – This is one of the more expensive items we bought this year, but so so worth every penny! I feel so much safer being home alone with the kids and seeing who is at our front door from my phone. Plus my husband can talk to the visitors through this from his desk at work! He loves it cause he can see the girls leave and come home from school. I love it to keep an eye on packages being delivered too! WARNING: Your husband will be able to see you come home with all those Target bags and might question you about what you bought. Ha!
Pretend Makeup – This was the solution for my girls playing in my real makeup bag everyday! It’s great quality for the price and comes with a bag to keep everything contained. This is probably my girls’ favorite gift of the year!
Visor Hat – Judge me all you want, I freaking love this hat! A top knot is my go-to hair style and that just isn’t practical with a regular hat. It offers great sun protection and rolls up really small! I took this with us to Cabo this year and wore it all the time at the pool and beach.
Rotating Bathroom Storage – I’ve talked about this before in my Amazon Beauty Purchases post, but this thing is amazing for organization! It holds so much product and works great in the corner of your vanity since you can spin it and see all that is there. It’s also adjustable so you can make it fit what you need.
Makeup Storage – This is another one I talked about in my beauty post. It’s technically for travel (I use it for that too) but I love it as my everyday makeup case. It holds so much and keeps things organized so I don’t spend extra time digging for products. It’s also super sturdy and prevents breaking makeup pans!
Camera Lens – Probably not very exciting to the majority of you, but I invested in this camera lens this year and it has been a game changer for my blog photos! This is the lens that gives the blurry backgrounds in photos to make them look way more professional.
Velvet Scrunchies – I just love these! I have to sleep with my hair up or else it gets super tangled in the night so I use one of these scrunchies. I also think the velvet gives them an added glam factor! Amazon offers a ton of other colors too.
Clarisonic Mia Prima – Full disclosure, this was actually gifted to me from Clarisonic. But it is worth every penny and I would have bought myself one. The first time I used this was after I washed my face like I normally do. I couldn’t believe how much makeup and dirt was left on my face that I would normally go to bed with. The next morning my husband even noticed a difference and said my skin looked really nice, now that’s saying something! I want to get the foundation brush head next.
Girl, Wash Your Face – Best. Book. Ever. This was my favorite book I read this year. So motivating and funny! I actually wrote an entire review about it here. Highly recommend!
