My sister is getting married!!!
This past weekend I hosted her bachelorette party in Palm Springs, CA. It was somewhat of a full circle moment as she hosted my bachelorette party here years ago. It really is one of our favorite places to come for a weekend getaway. Palm Springs is such a popular destination for bachelorette parties, so I wanted to share some recommendations and fun decor ideas from our weekend in case you are planning one too. We had the best time!
Where To Stay
There are so many amazing places to stay in greater Palm Springs. However, I highly recommend staying as close to the main downtown area. This will help you save on Ubers, time, etc. Also, if you have a small group then a hotel can be really fun. But, if you have a larger group like we did then consider getting an airbnb house with your own pool. We enjoyed having our pool, playing whatever music we wanted, saving money on cooking at the house, and just having our own space.
The Saguaro – The most colorful hotel in all of Palm Springs! So many great photo ops here and they have a really fun pool party! Great affordable option and I just saw on their website that they have a bachelorette package.
The Parker – If you are looking to splurge, this high end hotel is a dream! Famous for it’s giant patterned white wall out front (see here), this resort is the perfect mixture of Palm Spring’s 1950’s history and modern architecture. It offers tennis, multiple pools, fire pits, hammocks, and more all behind multiple white walls and dense hedges. (lobby shown below)
Things To Do / Where To Eat
The desert heat is no joke! Plan to spend the majority of your day hanging by the pool. If the weather does cool off some, there is great shopping along the main road downtown, S Palm Canyon Drive. That being said, these suggestions are for the evening and nightlife, which is the best part of a bachelorette party 😉
Dinner at Birba – One of my favorite restaurants in Palm Springs! It is perfect for a girls night out as there is a chic, tree-filled outdoor patio surrounded by twinkle lights. Make reservations!
Copa Nightclub – One of the hottest nightclubs in town. It has a Miami/Vegas vibe that is great for dancing with your girls. They play music videos on a big screen and offer bottle service. We came here on Friday night and there was a drag show going on which was a fun experience.
The Village Pub – Not sure where to even start with this one, but we had so much fun! This place has it all! From outside patios with live music, an area with latin music, to a dance floor with top hits, there is an area (or large room) for everything! Plus, there is a bar in almost every single room. We kept joking that it was never ending because we kept walking into new areas that felt like a whole new club!
Moxie Palm Springs – Right next to The Village Pub and on the second floor. We stopped in here for a drink, looked like a fun atmosphere and dancing. They also have some giant Jenga games on an outdoor patio.
Decorations
My favorite part!! The theme for my sister’s Palm Springs bachelorette was Final Flamingle! I found so many fun items on Amazon, will link them below!

I also wanted to give a huge shout out to MJ’s Bridal Support on Etsy. We ordered the Final Flamingle custom hats from her and they were a huge hit! This is actually the second time I have ordered custom hats from her (the first was for a Cabo bachelorette party). She can make anything you want and I highly recommend her shop, especially for a sunny destination!
We had such a great time in Palm Springs! It is the perfect destination for a bachelorette party, girls weekend getaway, or family vacation.
