Spring has (almost) sprung and I’ve got the fever… Although San Diego doesn’t necessarily have seasons dictated by the weather, there is just something about this time of year that makes me want to put away my neutrals and pull out the bright colors. Color-blocking, gingham, bright hues, polka dots, and straw hats and bags are all the biggest trends of the season. Pair them with a denim skirt, white jeans, shorts, or a lighter wash denim.

Also around this time of year is when the Carlsbad Flower Fields start blooming and open for visitors. It’s definitely a “Point of Interest” in San Diego and I can’t wait to visit again. Even though I grew up in Carlsbad, about a mile from the Flower Fields, I didn’t visit for the first time until last year. I guess when something is always there you have the mindset you can go anytime and put it off. I now look forward to it and it’s dramatic display of SPRING!
