Can you believe it’s almost Thanksgiving?! This is one of my favorite holidays, but I will admit I sometimes struggle with what to wear. Between wanting to be comfortable so I can eat as much as I want and also wanting to look dressed up for the occasion, it can be hard to find that perfect middle ground. But I think I finally found the solution and couldn’t wait to share it with you all today! No matter what I wear (sweater, dress, jeans, etc..) I try to incorporate some Fall colors. Think tan, brown, black, maybe even some maroon or mustard. These autumnal shades are an easy way to make any outfit more Thanksgiving-y! I’ve been wearing this camel-colored sweater so much lately, including for our Fall family photos earlier this week.
Ahhh… the feeling of unbuttoning your jeans after finishing a full plate of turkey… well with this outfit you don’t have to. The skirt has an elastic waist band, which means no uncomfortable waistline that magically gets way too small by the end of the evening. You can indulge all you want and look good doing it! For a little extra warmth, add a cozy knit like I did. Then some booties to make your outfit look Thanksgiving-chic.
Finding an outfit doesn’t have to be as hard as the cooking! This outfit is something that is comfortable that will allow you to indulge in all the pumpkin pie, but chic enough to make you look like your life is totally put together. It’s a win-win!
