7 Easy Ways To Update Your Closet For Spring

Spring has SPRUNG! It’s time for warmer weather and slowly transitioning your closet to summer outfits! I know it can be overwhelming to jump from one season to another (especially if you live in a place that has dramatic seasons), so I’m here to help you with a few ways to transition with ease! I’ve got a few updates for your closet that won’t break the bank and that are super easy to style!

I’ve got 7 easy ways to get your closet ready for Spring! All of these options are great and affordable, which is so important when adding a few pieces for each season. The best part is that you can wear some of these into summer and maybe even fall!

7 WAYS TO UPDATE YOUR CLOSET FOR SPRING

  1. Basic Tee – Get yourself a fresh new white tee! Basic tees are great because you can layer them with different pieces as the weather changes. They are so easy to dress up (throw on a statement jacket) or dress down (add some pastel fringe earrings). Basic tees are part of my everyday #momiform and since I wear them so often I like to get a new one each season.
  2. Distressed Denim Jeans – It’s time to trade in your black jeans for a lighter wash with some distressing! The jeans in the above photos are some of my absolute favorite, high waisted and pretty affordable for a staple piece. These will be great come Fall again with some booties! I also purchased a new pair of white denim skinnies, they can pair with neutrals, pastels, or bright colors.
  3. Wedge Sandals – If you are only going to purchase one pair, my best advice is to go with a taupe or blush tone. This pair is extremely comfortable and great for wearing with denim, dresses or even shorts.
  4. Floral Pattern Tops – I’ve been super into embroidered florals lately! I love the pattern and texture and I think it is so feminine. I’ve been eyeing this top, it’s so cute!
  5. Affordable Shades – Round frames are trending right now and these are under $15 but still high quality. I’m obsessed with them! I think they’re the perfect spring sunglasses because they’re a spring tone but are neutral enough to wear with everything. They also come in many other colors!
  6. Spring Dress – Springtime brings lots of occasions.. Easter, graduations, baby showers, bridal showers.. Pick a versatile dress that works for any of these occasions so you will be prepared when the invitation arrives. Anything floral or pastel would be great!
  7. Spring Makeup Hues – I like to update my Spring makeup a bit with lighter lipsticks and eyeshadows. I recently grabbed this lip kit and I think it will go with every outfit!

What have you updated for Spring? Do you change your hair with the seasons? I’m more of a dirty blonde to lighter blonde girl, haha! What is your favorite nail color for Spring? I’m usually pretty basic and just opt for a lighter shade.

I hope you you all have the best week!
